Neville Kerr
Training Consultant, Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, WHS Officer
Neville is one of our lead trainer/assessors. Neville is a highly experienced trainer who has a wealth of knowledge in risk
management and its practical application in the workplace. Neville is an accredited Trainer/Assessor with Workplace Health and
Safety Queensland for the operation of pressure equipment.
Neville has had over 25 years experience in mining and heavy industry, in particular, the power industry. He has held a number
of OHS and training roles during his career.
Dennis O’Shea
Training Consultant, Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
Dennis is another of our lead trainer/assessors. He has over 23 years experience working at Mount Isa Mines, particularly in the
copper smelter operations. He brings to the organisation a vast array of experience in the implementation of OHS systems gained
from his various supervisory positions within the mining industry. Dennis’ mining background is complimented by his experience in
construction making him an authority in the area of heavy industry OHS issues.
Roz Smith
Office Manager
Roz is our highly experienced Office Manager, she is active in almost all aspects of the organisation including; Human Resource
Management, Accounts, Customer Service, and General Administration. Roz has been with Krause Safety and Training from its
beginning and brings her vast government and customer service background to the organisation.
Amanda James
Office Supervisor, Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment Amanda is our very motivated Office Supervisor, she also wears her training hat when
required. On a daily basis Amanda is responsible for the efficient running of our office and uses her superior customer service skills
to promptly answer customer enquiries.
Amanda is also responsible for general staff training, RTO database management, general office administration and for organising
our busy training schedule. Amanda brings her vast experience in hospitality and tourism coupled with her training and auditing
experience for the Job Network agencies to our organisation.
Karen Ives
Accounts/Administration Officer
Karen is responsible for handling all our invoicing and accounts receivable. Karen has a very strong accounts background and we
are fortunate to have her working for our organisation.
OUR PLACE
Our office and training facility is located at 3 Ramsay Street in Garbutt, Townsville, Queensland, Australia. However, our training
reach is across Australia and the Pacific Rim, we can take our training resources almost anywhere and often training in off-site
facilities as required by various clients.
If you come to our premises you will enter our shady courtyard and be welcomed with a friendly smile by our staff. We have
three modern training rooms all fully air-conditioned and outfitted with ergonomically appropriate furniture and up-to-date
training equipment.
If you bring your own lunch we can offer you space in our fridge and use of our microwave. We also have designate eating areas
both inside and outside. Alternatively there is a choice of take-away food outlets within walking distance from our premises.
If you are driving here please note; there is no parking available on-site. However, you can park on Ramsay Street or neighbouring
streets where there is no shortage of parking space.
